Corporate Social Responsibility

Our culture of caring for our clients and our people extends to the wider community. Our staff are actively encouraged to become involved with community care programs, which are supported by the firm, and to participate in charitable events. As part of our flexible work practices, every employee is able to take paid community leave to support an appropriate worthy cause. We also provide a range of pro-bono services for our Not-For-Profit clients.

Pitcher Partners’ staff have actively been involved in the Leukaemia Shave for a Cure, Movember, World’s Biggest Cancer Morning Tea and Jeans for Genes Day.

Pitcher Partners Sydney hosts an annual cricket day to raise funds for the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute.

In addition, every month we have an ‘all staff’ meeting where staff organise a themed event to raise money for a particular charity. These charities have included the Starlight Foundation, Day of Difference Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Cancer Council and the Bone Marrow Foundation.

We also support the following not-for-profit organisations by providing accounting, auditing or business advisory assistance:

  • ACOSS
  • Colleges run by Sisters
  • General Services Board of Alcoholics Anonymous
  • Hope Worldwide
  • John Trivett research into the cause of primary brain tumours
  • Redfern Legal Centre
  • Sydney Cancer Centre
  • Sydney Cancer Institute
  • Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra
  • Greatorex Foundation
  • Hamlin Fistula Australia
  • Primary Club of Australia
  • Sisters of the Good Samaritan
  • Sydney Cricket Club
  • The Lord’s Taverners Australia
  • Thomas Foundation
  • Topo Foundation
