Success Stories/Case Studies:

  •  A medium sized long established community organisation, caring for persons with multiple disabilities, which was expected to double in size within six months, required support in developing a robust organisational structure to deliver the expected growth whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service and governance. Through a series of facilitated workshops and individual interviews across all tiers of the organisation, we developed a matrix structure that would enable the growth to occur. The recommendations of this organisational review have been adopted and implemented, and the organisation has doubled in size whilst improving customer service and governance standards.
  • A long established and very profitable publisher believed it needed to migrate its business to an online community format to sustain profitability in the medium to long-term. We assisted the leadership team develop a strategic plan for the transition including: a revised vision and set of values; stepped organisational structure to support the progressive transition; the creation of an appropriate financial model allowing scenario playing of various transitions; and submission of final plans. Board approval was gained and the strategic plan is being implemented.
  • A large well established family business wanted to provide an opportunity for members of the 3rd generation to take ownership and management responsibility of a business unit. We developed a strategic plan for the separation of the business unit and worked closely with the new leadership team to incorporate individual ideas and passions into that plan. A financial model was also developed for the business unit to enhance the understanding and management skills of the new team. The new management team are now actively operating the separate business.
  • The Boards of two long established and well known not for profit associations in NSW and VIC felt that an alliance between the two associations may be of mutual benefit. We examined the strategic, organisational, operational and financial fit of both associations to assess the merits of an alliance. The outcome was supported recommendations that the associations form an active alliance across many levels of both associations including an implementation plan to initiate the alliance within 90 days. All the recommendations have been adopted by both Boards and it is expected that the alliance will deliver significantly improved customer value.

We welcome opportunities to explore how we may work with your team, and assist in achieving your desired outcomes.
